    *Have more grade level and student goals that are transparent and open to the community.

    *Ensure finances are aligned to needs, goals, and resources for Math & English.

    *Parental and community partners work toward goals within their time/space.

  • Support Our Teachers & Staff

    *Acknowledge and reinforce that teaching is a profession and teachers are professionals.

    *Open communication with teachers and staff between the administration and board.

    *Increasing availability to buildings

    *Ensure that there are resources that align with district goals - AKA the Science of Reading.

    *Respect our teachers and staff by explaining the “why” behind decisions.

    Provide a menu of options for professional development courses.

    *Reporting of success in the classroom.

    *Creating a path to increase classroom support (TA, community members, Paras, parents).

  • Ensure Parent Engagement

    *Utilitize parents as resources for achieving district goals.

    *Better communicate results and benchmark progress of goals to parents.

    *Create a more welcoming environment at all buildings.

    *Co-create ideas with parents about student improvement - having goals and resources.

    *Have access to forms and background check paperwork to help in schools.

    *Give parents personal invites to meetings at school and in the community.

    *Increase access to translation and interpretation services.

  • Advance District Accountability

    *Have transparent and focused meetings on student achievement.

    *Meet standards established by ODE by moving forward on benchmarks.

    *Ensure that financial records are audited with open reports to stakeholders - parents, teachers, staff, and the community.

    *Celebrate growth in student achievement.

    *Create a new standard that all RFPs and respondents come to the board.

  • Increase Safety & Security

    *Hire a well-trained safety security force.

    *Support the TPS Chief of Police is actually leading district safety and security.

    *Involve parents/PTA to assist when they notice a concern.

    *Train everyone on “See Something, Say Something” - do a campaign.

    *Increase funding for safety and security.
